AC WORKS® L14-30 Emergency Power Kit

When the power goes out, having a generator is only part of the solution. You also need a dependable way to safely connect generator power to your home or equipment.

The AC WORKS® EPL1430KIT-025 combines a 30A NEMA L14-30 inlet box with a matching 25-foot, 10/4 STW extension cord. Together, they provide a convenient connection for generator and emergency power applications.

Built for Outdoor Generator Connections

The inlet box is ETL-Certified and rated for rough weather, making it suitable for outdoor installations where protection from rain, sleet, snow, and other weather conditions is important.

The included 25-foot cord is UL-Certified and features heavy-duty 10/4 STW cable jacket with stranded copper conductors, providing the durability needed for 30A generator applications.

The biggest advantage of this system is the right-angle female connector on the cord.

A Right-Angle Connector That Fits Perfectly

The 90° NEMA L14-30 female connector is specifically designed to work with the AC WORKS® inlet box. Its low-profile design allows the cord to sit neatly within the box enclosure instead of extending straight outward.

Once the connector is fully inserted and the cover is closed and locked, the connection is enclosed within the box. This provides additional protection from the weather while also making the connection more difficult to access or disconnect, especially if locked with a mini padlock.

That combination is especially useful for temporary or emergency generator setups where keeping the connection protected and secure is a priority.

Know When Your Power Is Connected

The cord also includes a built-in power indicator, providing a quick visual confirmation that power is present and the connection is working.

During an outage, that simple indicator can make it easier to check the status of your generator connection without having to inspect the setup further.

A Complete Solution for Emergency Power

The AC WORKS® EPL1430KIT-025 Emergency Power Kit brings together an ETL Certified Inlet Box and a UL Certified Power Cord with a right-angle connection designed for a perfect fit.

Add in the outdoor thick metal enclosure, locked cover, and built-in power indicator with a 90° receptacle, and you have a generator connection solution designed with reliability, security and piece of mind.

Whether you're preparing for storm-related outages or simply need a dependable temporary power connection, the right components can make all the difference.
