On Monday, March 16, 2020, all the non-essential employees of Cordtec Power Corp. started to work at home to help protect each other and our consumers from contracting the COVID-19 virus.

We also wanted to do our part to slow the spread and flatten the curve. Starting on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, Governor Evers, of Wisconsin, ordered a Safer At Home Order and closed all non-essential businesses, we are an essential business and are staying open. The only employees left inside of our warehouse are 2 essential shipping and logistics employees who have been working tirelessly 7 days a week, picking, packing, and shipping, to send out orders.

One of our employees, on March 30th, became sick while staying at and working from home. The only place she had gone was to the grocery store for essential items. The symptoms she had were fever, shortness of breath, a slight dry cough, body aches, headaches, and tiredness. Because of her medical history, there were no COVID-19 test options offered and no way to know if that is what she had, until the possibility of future anti-body tests.

Coronavirus

She quarantined herself away from her family, her husband was asked not to come to work for 14 days and followed the recommendations of the CDC. We are happy to report she has recovered and is doing well, and back to working remotely. There is no threat or danger to our products as she has not been in the warehouse, office, or touching any physical products for more than two weeks before she became ill.

The reason for sharing this story is because we want you to know it can happen to you and it is important to follow the rules and regulations of the CDC and your locality so we can get back to the lifestyles we had before the pandemic.

Until we can get back to our normal, or new normal, we are working hard to provide you the orders and products you need to keep your essential business working and the medical field powered.

We are taking precautions to make sure items are sanitized and safe. Thank you for taking your steps to help slow the spread and keep our nation and world as safe as you can. We appreciate you.
