When hanging lights outside your home make sure you follow some of the same tips from last week’s Holiday Lighting Safety article and in addition to those you need to be sure any extension cords you are using are indoor/outdoor cords.
Maybe your meaning of Thanksgiving has changed over the years. In your younger years, it may have meant food, fun, and family. Construction paper turkeys made from tracing your hands, the smell of pie baking in the oven and the sound of the grown-ups talking about their jobs, friends or travels while the boys are all yelling at the football game playing on tv and all you want to do is go jump in the leaves.
Winter weather means we will start using more electricity in our homes due to fewer daylight hours, colder temperatures and the holidays when we add to the electricity bill by hanging strands of lights and other festive electrical users around the house.
With a new year comes reflection, self-reflection is common. We say don’t be so hard on yourself. Reflection is a great motivator, but don’t allow it to tear you down. Now that 2017 has come to an end, we can reflect on the great accomplishments we have had at Cordtec Power Corp. in 2017.
