When selecting an AC WORKS® brand extension cord or electrical cable, it is important to understand the different cable jackets used.

Most of our products are jacketed with Thermoplastic (also known as PVC) and rubber. However, there are different codes used to describe the material and durability of different cables. Most of our AC WORKS® brand cables are SJTW, STW, STOW, and SOOW. If you are an electrician, you’ll most likely understand the lingo. But, if you are not, then we will briefly go over these codes and what they mean.

AC Connectors strives to provide power solutions to its customers since its founding in 2015. From our headquarters (Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA), we provide solutions worldwide and work efficiently to ship our AC WORKS® brand products out quickly, especially to those struck by natural disasters.
